Five ways you can build your self-esteem

At, we strive to work on our inner and outer beauty. We challenge ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves inside and out. The main part of being beautiful inside is to have a healthy self-esteem. A healthy self-esteem is the base of a happy life.

When your self-esteem is healthy and vibrant, your life begins to change.

You become more present in your life and your choices about who you are, what you endure and who you allow in your life change. I am giving you five vital tips to help you build your self-esteem up to where it needs to be for you to be and feel at your best.

Think Positive about yourself

To think positive is the key to happiness. It is the key to opening welcoming doors in your life. Begin with the attributes that you love the most about yourself such as your eyes, your hair, your patience, your ability to sing or to dance and more. Girl, you are “IT” please begin to believe it! Remember that you choose your emotions, decide today that you are enough. Your being is enough and your presence is definitely enough.

Take care of yourself

Girl, learn how to take care of yourself. Self-care is the base of self-esteem. When you take care of yourself, pamper your being, you accept yourself just as you are and you open to healing, rest and relaxation. So, take time to find clothes, looks, and makeup that make you feel your best. Also, take warm baths and create a great skincare for yourself. Your skin and your mind will thank you. Find something to be grateful for everyday. Actually, start a grateful journal where you can write all the things you are grateful for because there are a lot such as your breath that God gives you.

Do the things you enjoy

Find something that is more important than you are. What are you good at? What are some things that you do that give you energy such as writing, reading, makeup *Wink Wink* or knitting… What skills make you happy to complete and learn.

Get in touch with your creative side and discover your God given talents and gifts.

Set up mini challenges and achieve them

One of the main ways to build your self-esteem and confidence is to challenge yourself and accomplish your small goals. When you finish a task, you feel empowered and you feel like you can do anything. Girl, get out of your comfort zone and train your mind that failures are not really failures and that if you try hard enough, you can accomplish anything especially with God almighty and Christ on your side.

Identify who you are

Out of all the tips in this article, this one is the most important one. I want you to identify who you are. What makes you, YOU. How do you identify yourself to yourself? Are a peace seeking person? Are you funny? Are you compassionate? Are you kind? Take time to find out so that no one can move you, shake you, and make you become something you are not. Every heard the saying: “If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything?” Well, it is true! Stand up for yourself in a graceful way and watch how things start to move, you will be amazed.

This year, I want you to be kind to yourself and to work on building your self-esteem up. Know that no one can do the work but you. If you let yourself go or at the mercy of others wants for you and your life, you will lose. Take charge of your life and build that healthy self-love up.
